The Palms

The Palms is the coffee shop at "The Hilton Towers" (earlier known as "The Oberoi Towers"). A warm feeling is what you can expect as soon as you step inside this place. Pick a table next to the rear windowed corners and enjoy the beautiful greenery and sea view.

The Palms like most other fine coffee shops, has a multi-cuisine menu. The food at Oberoi is not generally one of its strong points, however The Palms seems to be an exception to that rule. Its menu selects the best of what Oberoi has to offer in the various cuisines and puts it in one neat package. I had tried a continental chicken (Schnitzel) and a Penne (tomato based). Both were decent and the quantity was surprisingly good. The staff is one of the friendliest you will find. The live music just adds to the zest of the place.

They also have a lavish spread in the buffet. The theme changes weekly, so its advised to first find out, what they have this week, before planning a lunch or dinner buffet here. The desserts are absolutely divine and are a must try here. The 'Tiramisu' is my favourite here.

On the whole, The Palms is a very good experience and is a must visit.

Vaishali : I think your suggestion on couzing will be taken seriously and you may get to see one soon. Thanks for the compliments about the other post! And dude, if you keep posting good stuff like this, then the tiramisu is on me. :-)

Varun : Dude, whats the plan for 31st? We are planning to head out of mumbai. Either pune or goa. Are you on for it?

We can get bungalows arranged in Pune. and if varun convinces his parents, then we have a bungalow in goa as well. So, the hotels are not necessary.

But, dude are you crazy a week and all... saale just 2 days ... max. 3. Ive got work and my final exams dude.
can't afford to take them too lightly...
